Rawhide Drums and Workshops

Art to Honor Nature

Making Drums, Art, and Other Crafts

Savannah Fox

Savannah started her journey as a local child artist designing post cards in the small town of Joseph, Utah. Her love and passion for art continued to expand into different mediums as she grew up. Paints, beads, leather, and rawhide became central to her craft. Her love for nature continued to be the foundation of her art, and she sought to bring that influence into her work with animal hides.

Today, Savannah aims to honor the animal each hide comes from by taking a necessary step in the process of using the whole animal. Through her art, Savannah hopes to share her gratitude for and of our responsibility to nature. Everything she makes is fueled by the purpose to use what God gave us and create a little joy.

Savannah continues to teach drum making workshops at the Fremont Indian State Park and Museum located in Sevier County, Utah in the Clear Creek Canyon. Her current work is displayed at the Fremont Indian Museum in the gift gallery and at Cowboys and Indians in St. George, Utah.
